We have over 20 years of experience in Tulsa and Muskogee taking care of patients and guiding loved ones gently through the process of end-of-life care.
We know that choosing a palliative care provider for your loved one can be overwhelming and stir up many emotions. Seasons Hospice makes it easier with our customized palliative care plans and dedicated care teams; we remain ready to walk you through the process and have earned a trusted reputation for our services.
Palliative Care and Pain Management
Palliative care is meant to enhance a patient’s current care, focusing on the quality of life for them and their family by controlling pain and other symptoms. The medical care provided by our palliative care team at Seasons Hospice is customized pain management and end-of-life care for each of our patients.
While our focus is of course on the patients, we also recognize that their caregivers and family members are going through this journey as well. We ensure that family members are able to share their burdens with a team of compassionate professionals so that they can experience peace and cherish each moment they have left with their loved ones.
Compassionate End of Life Care
Many people feel that hospice is a last resort, that turning to palliative care is an admission of defeat and that it in some way hastens the death of a loved one. At Seasons Hospice, we are here to assure you that this is not the case. This journey is never easy, but there are many benefits associated with hospice and palliative care that starts with the patient and extends to family members and caregivers.
Palliative Care Teams
When you work with Seasons Hospice, your loved one will be assigned a team of compassionate and knowledgeable professionals. This team will work with them through their journey and support them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We will be there to guide and care for you and your loved one every step of the way.
Care teams are made up of a registered nurse, a chaplain, and volunteers. The RN visits patients every other week or as needed and they are in charge of pain management and other medical care needs. Chaplains are there to provide patients and family members spiritual guidance throughout the process to help everyone feel peace at the end of the journey. We respect patients of all faiths, belief systems, and world-views and if you do not wish to have spiritual support we will respect that decision. Our volunteers help families complete day-to-day tasks and provide simple services to support patients and families in the program.
